The movie starts with a 10-year-old Justin who is returning home by riding his bicycle through the park road. Suddenly he is dragged by an invisible substance.

Scene changes here to the Harper family. There are only three members in the house: Jackie, detective Greg & their teenage boy Alec. Jackie got in a relationship with her childhood friend Todd but now she wants to back. Greg tries to make it simple but Alec feels bad about the happening. Todd still wants to extend the relationship where Jackie needs a cutoff.

One month later another boy Michael goes missing from the town. Greg makes the chief detective of the case, and Detective Spitzky is selected as an assistant. A green pocket knife is found at the crime scene. Greg connects this incident with a 15 years old case where a series of abductions were made of a teen child. Braun & Travers two boys escaped from the killer Cole Gordon and after that, he was captured. In this situation, Greg guesses that previously they caught the wrong guy and sentenced him. Now the real criminal again starts killing children.

Greg & Spitzky are called by the chief and they go to speak with Braun. But he becomes hysterical when he sees them. On the other hand, mysterious events start occurring in Harper’s house which looks like paranormal events. In Harper’s house TV turns on by itself, pictures are going missing from their frames and even a repairman tells them they have a daughter and she let him in. But they have only one son Connor.

Todd comes to meet Jackie but then her coffee mug falls from the top of the balcony. It strikes Todd’s head, and he starts bleeding. Jackie then hides him in the basement and gives him first aid treatment. Then she takes Connor to school. In the car, Jackie asks Connor about throwing a mug, but he looks unaware of the incident.

In the evening when Jackie returns home, she finds Todd murdered in the basement. She suspects Connor did it. So, Jackie & Greg buried the dead body in the ground to protect their son.

Connor hears a harsh sound coming from the utility room. He goes there and finds the missing silverware in the washing machine. It was wrapped badly with clothing. Suddenly he receives a message on his computer. He moves there, and a masked person appears behind him. The person wearing a frog mask seems very formidable.

Greg & Jackie return home and find senseless Connor tied up in the bathtub. There a green pocket knife stands in a shop next to Connor. Greg realizes the killer is inside his house and wants to meet him face to face, that’s why he didn’t kill Connor.

Jackie takes Connor to the hospital and Greg stays in the house to find them murdered.

The scene jumps into the past where we see two homeless people start phrogging in the Harper house. Mindy & Alec are those two persons. Here we see a Mindy wants to keep a low profile but is the opposite. He wants to annoy them. Alec installs an app on his phone by which he can control the TV. This is the reason why TV channels change on their own. However, one day Mindy is accidentally seen by the repairman. Then she pretends she is the daughter of the Harper house.

The scene comes to the present-day a few hours after Connor’s accident where Mindy is in the basement and she witnessed Greg killing Todd. She runs from the place to alert him. But she becomes afraid when sees him putting Connor in the bathtub. She suspects that he killed Connor. Then Mindy taunts Alec and they start an argument. Middle of these Alec pushed Mindy from the stairs. After falling Mindy becomes senseless. Alec then hides unconscious Mindy in Greg’s car.

Jackie left the house to take Connor to the hospital. Then Greg starts his car and left the house. He is unaware of Mindy’s presence in his car.

Greg stops the car middle of the jungle. He moves forward there. Middle of these Mindy wakes up and finds out that Greg is the kidnapper & murderer. Because she finds a bunch of green pocket knives in his bag. She tries to get help from the emergency number, but she can not describe her exact location.

She comes out of the car, and some distance ahead of her finds a little cottage. Mindy discovers that Justin & Michael are imprisoned there by Greg. She is attacked by him before frees them from the closet. Greg shoots in her head and confirms she is dead. Then he back to the house.

In Greg’s house, he is attacked by him with an ax. They scuffle and at a stage, Alec takes Greg’s gun. Alec steps into the light and now for the first time, Greg sees him. Greg becomes shocked by recognizing Alec. He tries explaining but Alec shoots in his head without hearing anything.

Spitzky arrives at the place and realizes the situation. Alec calls by Spitzky’s name and Spitzky also recognizes Alec.

Jackie and Connor arrive home and find there is much police in the house. Spitzky finds the shreds of evidence of Greg’s murder in his car. He then rescues Justin & Michael from the trailer.

In the last scene of the movie, he is in an ambulance, moving to the hospital. A flashback shows where young Alec & his friend are encountered by him. That means Alec was once Greg’s victim. He managed to flee from him. Now when he recognizes Greg then he took revenge.
