The Devil’s Rejects (2005) is a slasher horror movie written & directed by Rob Zombie. This is the second film of the Firefly film series.
The Devil’s Rejects Ending Explained and Plot Story in Details

The movie starts on May 18, 1978, after the Halloween sacrifice.
Sheriff John and a large posse of state troopers are on a mission to destroy the Firefly family. Here we see Tiny dragging a corpse in the jungle when the police forces passed.
Police seized the house but the Firefly family fights back against them. In the gunfight, Rufus is killed, and Mother Firefly got arrested by the police.
On the other hand, Otis and Baby escape from the scene. They killed a lady and steal her car. Then they go to a run-down motel named Kahiki Palms.
Police found 75 dead bodies all over the Firefly house. Not every corpse is in one piece. They are mutilated & grafted badly. Few corpses are discovered on the fridge and some others in the basement in damaged condition.
John founds a scrapbook where every Firefly member is listed with a photo. John recognized Captain Spaulding when seeing his photo in the book. He instantly appoints some police officers to find him.
In custody, Mother Firefly provokes John by explaining how she killed George, John’s brother. John becomes vindictive and kills her.
Otis and Baby hostage a musical group named Banjo & Sullivan in their room at the motel. Otis shoots a roadie when he returns.
Baby makes a phone call to Captain Spaulding and called as dad and talks about the massacre. Here it clears that Captain Spaulding is Mother Firefly’s husband and father of Baby.
Captain Spaulding decides to join with Baby & Otis. Therefore, he starts driving in his car. But in the middle of the road when the car goes down Captain Spaulding frightens a boy and takes his car.
On the other side, Otis forces Adam & Roy to come with him.
Otis drives the two prisoners to the place where he buried weapons. On the spot Adam & Roy attacks him. But they are easily defeated & killed by Otis.
At the motel, Wendy tries to escape through the bathroom window and Gloria attacks Baby. But Baby kills her.
On the outside, Wendy is caught by Captain Spaulding, and he knocks her unconscious.
In the meantime, Otis returns and all three leave the motel together in the musical band’s van.
Later a motel maid comes to clean the room and finds the murder scene. She also discovers writing on the bathroom wall “The Devil’s Rejects” with blood.

Wendy wakes up and runs toward the highway for help. But a truck crushed her there and dies in an instant.
Sheriff John Wydell calls Rondo & Billy Ray who are two amoral bounty hunters. Wydell wants help from the hunters to find the Fireflys. The bounty pair is known as the “Unholy Two.”
Captain Spaulding, Otis & Baby comes to a brothel to hide from the police, owned by Charlie who is an associate of Spaulding.
Wydell discovers Charlie while investigating. He threatens Charlie to hand over Fireflys and it works.
With the help of the Unholy Two, Wydell captures the survived Fireflys. He takes them back to the Firefly house and starts torturing them.
He nails Otis’s hands and staples crime-scene photos to Otis & Baby’s stomach. Then he beats them brutally and shocks Spaulding with a cattle prod. Wydell taunts Baby about how he killed Mother Firefly.
Wydell sets the house on fire. Otis & Spaulding is inside the house. But Baby is taken to outside to hunt for play.
Charlie returns to save the family but is killed by the sheriff.
Baby gets shot and strangled by Wydell but at that moment Tiny arrives. He breaks Wydell’s neck and also saves Otis & Spaulding. But he does not want to leave the place and back to the burning house.
Otis, Baby & Spaulding takes Charlie’s car and flee from the place.
Later they notice a police barricade is ahead of them. Although realizing they won’t make it alive, all take guns and speed towards the barricade. The guns blazing rapidly and the movie ends here.
