Laura is the kind of popular girl in med school. Beauty with brains. She has a handsome doctor boyfriend too. She sometimes stays at her boyfriend’s place and gets intimate. They love each other so much. Actually, Laura leads a life that everyone craves. Who doesn’t want to get everything in life?
They are friends and they belong to a pretty understanding relationship. One day, she notices a girl sitting in a corner alone, looking at her. She thinks she is very lonely. She decides to talk with her.
One day, she gets a friend request from her. Her name is Ma Rina Mills.
She goes through her timeline. She gets a kind of gothic and dark vibe from her shared videos. She kind of likes it and accepts her request.
She meets her on campus. Laura’s father was a psychiatrist, and she is following in his footsteps. She asks Rina if she is doing it for credit or if she really wants to do it. She says she doesn’t know anyone yet. Laura says now she knows her. She again stares at her, and Laura bids her goodbye.
After school, Laura spends time with her boyfriend. She notices Rina tags her in a post. Tyler asks if she is her first mental patient, seeing some messages coming from Rina. She is sending such messages that prove she is so icky.
At night, Laura sees so many wasps outside the window. She goes there and sees Rina with a lot of wasps, and that spoils her sleep. She has just had a nightmare. In the morning, she goes out for a jog and checks messages from her friends.
Kobe and Gustavo are good friends, so they went out together last night and sent each other messages, making fun of it. Along with this, she gets Rina’s messages. She says Hey it’s her birthday the next day. Asks if she is having a party. She is looking forward to it.

On the day of her birthday party, she is doing her hair, and at that time, she calls in FaceTime. She congratulates her, and she asks if Laura gets her messages. Laura says she will see her tomorrow. She asks what about tonight. Isn’t she gonna celebrate with her friends? She says it’s just Tyler and her, so she will see her later.
Laura has lied about it. She feels icky lying about it, but nothing she can do about it. Then she and all her friends and her mom celebrate the birthday party together. They enjoy the evening so much. Later, Marina confronts her. She saw everything when she celebrated her birthday with all of her friends. She is just a liar like everyone else.
Does she know how it feels to be all alone? Saying this, she grabs her hand and starts shaking it violently. Laura shakes her hands off her and it makes her cap fall. Her head is swollen, and part of it is slightly empty. Everyone in the canteen sees it. She gets embarrassed and runs away.
Even Marina was embarrassed by the incident, but she still gives Laura messages wanting to be friends with her. She tries to face chat with her and gives her messages, saying sorry. But Laura doesn’t take her call and unfriends her. She didn’t know this would change her whole life. At night, Laura hears something and sees a weird mirror on the wall.
